Tasks and responsibilities: The sawyer cuts with the saw, standing on the chair at the command, cutting to the required dimensions. It also helps to bring the wood to the cutting line. Straightening the logs with a chainsaw at the ends. Helps to arrange the finished material on packages that are later tied. The sawyers help carries the edges of the logs, respectively the resulting timber. The timber must be cut to size. When the lumber resulting from cutting the logs is hemmed, they help to arrange it on packages of the same size, respectively, they carry the edges of the lumber or put it in a circle, the other being at the exit end. In the evening, after the working day, the line is cleaned, the resulting sawdust is removed and loaded into the vola cup. Other tasks can also be distributed such as: - Sharpening the blades; - Greasing the machines; - Changing the sails; - Cleanliness must be respected at the workplace as well as at the accommodation; - Compliance with the work schedule; - Measuring and cutting logs.
