For WELDER -the job holder has the role of cutting and welding, assembling by butt-butt welding or electrofusion PE pipes and fittings; - he needs welding course in polyethylene; - prepares and checks the welding machines; - fits the parts for cutting or welding; - cleans and controls the component parts from possible defects, impurities; - regulates the voltage/intensity of the electric current; - welds and cuts metal and plastic; - strengthens worn parts by covering them with layers of alloys; - uses measuring devices to control the finished parts; - fits the ends of pipes or fittings in order to assemble them using the established welding procedures (butt-butt or electrofusion). - controls the finished parts using specific measuring devices; - check the collinearity of the parts to be assembled where applicable; - delimit the welding area with a special marker when necessary; - enter the data necessary to identify the weld in the welding machine (for the electrofusion welding process); - respect the welding and cooling times; - mark with a special welding marker, with the following data: no. authorization (punch), date of welding; - keep records of the welds and hand over to the team leader or formation leader the report with the performed welds every day; - constantly takes care of the integrity and proper functioning of the tools and devices used in the activity carried out; - verbally warns the other personnel structures about the dangers existing during the activity. - check the inscription of the rings and record it in the work report from the drum. - check the width and thickness of the band by means of a probe with a ruler and a micrometer. - constantly check that there is tape stock in the battery. - strictly respects the internal regulations of the company and the work schedule established by the company; - executes any works ordered by the manager of the workplace, respecting exactly the provisions of the specific norms of labor protection and psi, both for the activities carried out in the perimeter of the company, its work points, as well as for the third beneficiaries, being directly responsible for the observance of these norms . - preparation of welding surfaces; - carrying out the welding operation of PE pipes and fittings; - listing the variable welding protocol; - diagnosing and remedying non-conformities. - prepares and checks the welding machines;
