Job Details

The job of a pastry chef is to make sweets, pastries, cakes and other confectionery products. - Accepts, checks and stores the ingredients for the preparation of sweets and calculates their consumption according to weight; - Makes doughs, mixtures, cakes and creams, ice cream, semi-finished and finished confectionery products, patisserie, pizzeria; - Designs and executes more elaborate confectionery products; - Checks the quality of products and takes samples for laboratory analysis; - Stores, presents and ensures the preparation and storage of products in hygienic conditions. - The work environment involves high temperatures, unpleasant odors and shift work.
