Purpose of the position: The therapist in complementary therapies has the main goal of offering patients complementary treatments that help them improve their health and maintain their emotional and mental balance.
- Assessing the health status of patients and identifying their needs
- Development and implementation of a personalized treatment plan for each patient
- Providing complementary treatments such as therapeutic massage, acupuncture therapy, reflexology therapy, aromatherapy therapy, yoga or meditation therapy, hypnosis therapy or other complementary therapies
- Monitoring the patients' progress and adjusting the treatment plan, as appropriate
- Advising patients on healthy lifestyles and other methods of improving health
- Collaboration with other health professionals, such as doctors, psychologists or physical therapists, to ensure an integrated approach to patient treatment
- Documentation of all treatments provided and patient progress
