Regarding the control, diagnosis and repair of electrical installations: - selects and correctly uses the equipment for determining current, voltage and electrical resistance; - correctly interpret electrical diagrams, symbols and basic electrical laws; - determines parallel and series circuits; - de-energizes electrical equipment according to work safety technical norms and PSI; - performs checks on electrical installations, visually, aurally or with the help of measuring devices, through appropriate procedures, in order to comply with PSI norms; - identifies faulty equipment and components, in order to fix them; - choose the tools, materials and measuring devices according to the work scheme; - replaces/repairs faulty electrical equipment; - restore the insulation of the circuit and the grounding connections according to the technical norms; - re-energize the electrical installation in order to check the quality of the work; - fixes any defects and presents the work for reception. o Regarding the execution/modification of electrical installations: - reads and correctly interprets the electrical diagram; - choose the materials, devices, equipment and measuring devices according to the specifications in the scheme; - establishes the route of the installation according to requirements and availability; - mounts the protection tubes, conductors and equipment, and makes the connections and isolations according to the scheme and technical norms of work safety; - puts the installation under voltage and uses specific devices, techniques and procedures to check its operation; - repairs or replaces any defective equipment, conductors, insulation, etc. according to - the requirements. o Regarding the maintenance of electrical installations: - performs periodic inspections and technical reviews of technical installations; - identifies and checks the quality of the materials and cleans the accessible parts of the electrical installation; - determines the need for repair depending on the technical condition of the electrical installation and performs both current repairs and capital repairs, which involve the complete dismantling of the electrical installation, painting, greasing and reconditioning of damaged insulation, etc.; - performs a complete cycle of tests, in order to establish the inclusion of the electrical control installation in the required parameters;
